Clive Owen and Billy Crudup star in “Blood Ties,” a gritty crime drama set in Brooklyn in 1974, which means both actors sport impressive period facial hair. Owens plays Chris, a career criminal who has just been released from prison on good behavior. Crudup plays his younger brother, Frank, a cop with a promising future. James Caan plays their father. The women in their lives are played by Mila Kunis, Zoe Zaldana, and Marion Cotillard. “Blood Ties” was directed by French actor Guillaume Canet, who also wrote the screenplay with James Gray. “Blood Ties” will be open in theaters and be available on VOD on March 21.
