When Boyce’s (Cedric “The Entertainer”) old friend Gina (Toni Trucks) comes to visit asking that he marry she and her partner Drew (Paula Jai Parker), Boyce agrees. However, members of his congregation are not as accepting and Boyce struggles to find the balance between his personal and religious beliefs.
