Upcoming releases from Disney and Warner Bros. are expected to draw big audiences to the Esplanade Ballroom at WonderCon on Saturday. Disney’s panel will feature clips from “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and “Toy Story 3.” Cast members and filmmakers tentatively scheduled to appear in support of their new films include Jerry Bruckheimer, Mike Newell, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Jordan Mechner for “Prince of Persia;” Nicholas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Teresa Palmer, and Jon Turteltaub for “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice;” and Lee Unkrich and Darla K. Anderson for “Toy Story 3.”

Warner Bros. will promote “The Losers,” “Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Splice” during its panel beginning at 2:15 p.m. Cast members expected to attend include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoë Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, and Óscar Jaenada for “The Losers;” Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner, Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy, and Thomas Dekker for “Nightmare on Elm Street.” Director Vincenzo Natali (“Cube”) will be on hand to talk about “Splice,” a science fiction film about two scientists–played  by Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley–who engineer a new species by splicing human DNA with different animal DNA.

Finally, Lionsgate will close out Saturday’s programming with the cast and creators of “Kick-Ass.”

Friday and Sunday in the Esplanade Ballroom will be mostly dedicated to TV shows “V,” “Fringe,” Human Target,” and “Chuck.” The ever exuberant cast members of “Chuck,” including Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin and Josh Gomez will take part in the panel.
