It’s opening day of the ShoWest Trade Show and there were a few interesting toys and concession products of note.
Coca-Cola had a steady crowd in front of its futuristic drink dispenser, which allows users to select one of hundreds of possible flavors from its line of soft drinks. In the mood for Cherry Sprite, no problem. After three clicks on the touchscreen the machine dispenses a perfect blend of syrup and soda in matter of seconds.
The company f’real showed off its refrigerator case and blender combination that creates milkshakes, smoothies and frozen cappuccinos right on the spot.
Lastly it was hard to resist the new crop of movie tie-in drink toppers, which will be released for the upcoming “Iron Man 2,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Despicable Me” “Shrek 3: The Final Chapter,” and “Toy Story 3.” The drink toppers are detailed enough to appeal to adult collectors as well as kids.
